I think I would've expected to have met a friend or two at the two month mark. It does kinda depend, though. If the guy and I have been spending two months alone and neither of us has met ANY of the other's friends/family, I wouldn't worry. I also wouldn't worry if I got the sense that he doesn't really have any good friends (just acquaintances), and there's no one for me to meet. (That is how it was in my last dating situation). But if he's clearly been doing things with friends/family (mostly friends) that are things I could conceivably have been invited to, I might wonder about why he's not bringing me around at all.

The above post about not doing anything that qualifies as a date is sound. If you find that you are irritated about what restrictions you put on yourself about your friend, or that you worry as much about your friend's feelings as your b/f's, then you just don't like your b/f enough to adjust what you do.

It is kind of weird to me that people who appear to be very against fwb, have (obviously) never ever been in such a relationship themselves. Consequently, they are judging something they have never experienced, and thus define and imagine it according to their own ideas. Of course, everyone has the right to have an opinion, so I am honestly not trying to say that somebody's opinion is less valid... However, it does seem to me that most people who haven't been is such a relationship believe it is just dirty emotionless sex during which the participants do not even look at each other and don't even say a word to each other, just do the thing and leave (which is not really the case).
